Hyde Diecasting was founded over 40 years ago. In November 1999, our Managing Director, Alan Mitchell, acquired the company and continued its Zinc Diecasting tradition.
When our customers’ needs grew, we grew with it.
Since 1999, we’ve established Aluminium Diecasting and secondary manufacturing operations and cultivated a strong network of reliable manufacturing partners across the UK, EU and Asia.
Experience
With over 30 years of experience, Alan, Colin, and Caroline bring a wealth of knowledge to our customers. Alan leads as Managing Director, Colin heads Business Development, and Caroline oversees Commercial, Sales & Finance. Our joint experience enabled the establishment of reliable processes, ensuring customers receive parts on time, on cost, and on quality.

We’re Mechanical Engineers dedicated to accelerating the product development process. From initial concept to final product, we provide end-to-end solutions that reduce time-to-market. Our expertise in rapid prototyping, design for manufacturing, and quality assurance ensures that our products exceed customer expectations.
Leveraging our extensive network of proven UK, EU and Asian suppliers, we can deliver prototypes in as little as 5 days. Our commitment to personalised service means we’re often on-site to hand-deliver prototypes to customers and discuss projects in person. This ensures clear communication and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Our Stock
We maintain strategic inventory levels based on customer order volumes and demand variations to meet ongoing needs. Through in-depth analysis and supply chain management control, we anticipate customer requirements to avoid stock shortages.
Working closely with our suppliers, we ensure high manufacturing standards are maintained. Process capability for critical to quality dimensions controls quality at the machine level. Our strategy is to continually develop capabilities in our supply chain, thereby providing our customers with the resilience and high quality they expect.
